We are proud to share that Vesper Medical Transport has been featured in recent local news coverage highlighting our new partnership with Memorial Health System in the Mid-Ohio Valley. This collaboration will create an internal medical transport service dedicated to moving patients safely and efficiently between Memorial Health System facilities.
Beginning in early 2026, Vesper Medical Transport will help support transfers from freestanding emergency departments in Belpre and Athens to the main hospital in Marietta, as well as other Memorial Health System locations. Our teams will also assist with transports for services such as radiation therapy, ensuring patients can get to the right place at the right time while receiving consistent, high-quality care along the way.
As part of this partnership, Vesper will manage and staff Memorial’s ambulance operations, providing coordinated medical transportation across the system and helping improve timeliness, patient flow, and continuity of care.
There will be no changes to patients’ coverage or cost for these transports. The goal of this partnership is simple: provide quicker, more coordinated service that keeps patients at the center of every decision.
